Making your services more relevant, accessible and seen

A must for any marketers promoting community and their suite of products.  FriendFeed has introduced a number of features. I'm still not convinced this will make me promote my own profile, due to my limited interest in the services. But as I've discussed previously, all services must look for ways to continue to add accessibility and relevance to their product. Making LinkedIn Groups Functional

Finally, it appears something is being done about LinkedIn and its appalling group system.  Previously, you could create groups.  And that's about it. To get people in is completely manual, and they need to be approved manually. Anyone who has dealt with them will understand. As the manager of two groups - AIMIA and Business Network Australia - I was happy to receive the following note from them on Wednesday, explaining to me that the group functionality will be increased today. LinkedIn iPhone App: Waste of time? Or saving grace?

So today the LinkedIn iPhone App was launched as one of the must have iPhone apps. At first I dismissed it as a waste of time - a yacht to the whale, if you will. (Too soon?) However, one of its best features is the ability to copy LinkedIn contacts over to the contact list on your phone itself.  It's nice and simple and the app features four different sections: the main page, connections, search, and status.
