We love Twitter.

Yesterday Hitwise published an update on just how much we Aussie's love Twitter.  I've always been interested in the reason behind why people started -- what was that catalyst? What story did they want to tell? Visits to Twitter had a short term dip between September 2008 and November 2008, but have steadily climbed again to January 2009, and were at an all time high for the week ending 10 January 2009. Twitter has maintained its phenomenal yearly growth rate, increasing year-on-year in web visits by 517.9% (w/ending 10 January 2009 compared to the same week last year).

And a scheme that amounts to censorship is coming closer: the government has said that it ...

I've come in at number 49 in Julian Cole's Australia's Top 50 Marketing Blogs which was published in this month's issue of B&T.  I must say I'm very happy with the listing and have seen the results over the past few months during which I've seriously sat down and dedicated the required time and effort to deliver some strong content. Just prior to this I was also lucky enough to be listed in Brad Howarth's Australia's Best Marketing Bloggers. Great to see Gavin Heaton holding second place and Katie Chatfield holding fifth -- who I need to thank for all the amazing inspiration they have ...

Google Street View – Are you OK with this?

So today our whole office erupted with everyone quickly going to find their house upon the announcement Google's street view in Australia.  We're the 5th country to have the search giant take voyeurism to the next level. I'm still not entirely sure I'm OK with this.  Sure, there's a lot of information about people already on the net (especially soc-net freaks like myself), and a lot of privacy questions, I'm sure. But something about my residence (and not to mention my car out the front!) being in clear view and accessible on the net makes me a little edgy. What about you? Have ...
