You are here – urgency vs importance

Graph forming quadrants of importance and urgency

How to play You are here

Print out photos of your co-workers, boss, minions – then plot them as requests come through.  Where they belong!

On a serious note: this helped me dramatically work out in my daily schedule exactly what the differences were between everything.  It’ll allow you to make more sound decisions based on your work flow.  Beware the most common culprit: urgent but not important (quadrant 4).

Also really useful to work out what’s important to your community!

Nice post. I am curious though. Do you recommend wearing a helmet when your co-workers et al see where they are plotted?

Nope – just take a few jiu jitsu classes before hand ;)
