Making your services more relevant, accessible and seen

A must for any marketers promoting community and their suite of products.  FriendFeed has introduced a number of features. I’m still not convinced this will make me promote my own profile, due to my limited interest in the services.

But as I’ve discussed previously, all services must look for ways to continue to add accessibility and relevance to their product. I think LinkedIn has really pulled up their socks with their iPhone App and increased Group functionality – but we’ll see how the community will respond.

And as Gavin Heaton also dicussed recently, it’s also about continually adding value to an existing service, community or product.

it will push you to examine the shifting patterns of consumer/participant behaviour. It will demand that you consider a variety of usage patterns. And it will prompt you to continuously deliver new value.
